There are treatments that can be performed at the time of the cataract surgery which will reduce the intraocular pressure and lessens the need for glaucoma drops. We use OMNI surgical system which recent studies have shown a significant number patients will not need glaucoma drops after cataract and OMNI surgery. At the time of the consultation we will inform you if you qualify for this procedure if you have glaucoma.
